Upcoming Title: An LDS Financial Book

I'm finishing up a non-fiction book about managing LDS finances. If you're Mormon, you know that you probably handle your money a little different from your non-LDS friends. After all, you pay tithing, and that eats up a sizable chunk of your income right there. You probably pay fast offerings and other charitable contributions. You may also save for kids' missions or possibly for your own. These are expenses that most Americans don't think about, and yet there's a tendency for we Mormons to compare our own financial situations to our neighbors who are living different financial lives.

Fortunately, there are many things we can do to create a sound financial foundation for our families. What are some of the strategies you have used to live within your means and save for a rainy day?
